Heat Stop was developed by Bivit to protect fattening pigs and sows from the heat. Heat Stop is a nutritional supplement consisting of, among other things, electrolytes and osmolytes that help to keep blood parameters as constant as possible during periods when animals drink and pant a lot. In addition, applying extra B vitamins and probiotics ensures that the animals are less affected by the heat and that they maintain a high feed intake for longer. Finally, Heat Stop also contains a mixture of antioxidants and minerals that reduce stress and help support the immune system.

Better results for finishing pigs thanks to organic trace elements.

Trace elements, zinc, copper, manganese and iron, are crucial for any animal to function properly. It is therefore essential that these elements are absorbed in the body as well as possible. Traces can be supplied in the feed in various ways: with inorganic or with organic spores. Bivit conducted a trial with fattening pigs in which the two spore applicators were compared. The technical results soon showed that the organic spores resulted in greatly improved growth. From this we can conclude that organic spores are clearly more absorbable than inorganic spores!

Smooth casting process thanks to new Transit concept!

In a transit feed it is crucial to make more calcium available for the muscles and udder, so that the farrowing process runs as optimally as possible and the sow is prepared for good lactation. In the classic method, the electrolyte balance is lowered, which is often accompanied by a drastic drop in feed intake. For this phase, Bivit developed a specific transition feed with a unique Transit core, whereby feed intake is maintained. This is done through a completely new and innovative way of mobilizing calcium. This transit concept far exceeds the results of the classic premix in terms of farrowing and milk yield!
